The Spivs are a group of friends brought together by their love of the music of The Kinks.

The band comprises the web team for
The Kast off Kinks, Olga Ruocco and Geoff Lewis, together with internationally renowned chanteur, Geoff Murrell.

They record their own interpretations of the songs of Ray and Dave Davies  for their own pleasure and that of their friends. They do not make any money from this, nor is it their aim to do so.  They urge anyone who listens  to purchase the great original albums by The Kinks and by Ray and Dave individually and to get to as many Ray, Dave and Kast Off Kinks gigs as possible.

In 2000, The Spivs curated and produced a compilation of Kinks Kovers by other members of the Kinks Preservation Society - "The Great Lost KPS Album", this was released as part of a double CD with The Spivs' own "Kwirky". All proceeds went to the Leukaemia Research Fund , a charity which John Dalton supports. The tracks from these CDs can be downloaded here.

Since 2011, The Spivs have been joining forces annually with other musicians from all various parts of world for the Kinks Night at the Clissold Arms.

In 2013, The Spivs' version of "See My Friends" was included on a compilation CD , "Pass It On Vol. 1", for the dialysis charity, The Pete Quaife Foundation.

Geoff Murrell has been lead vocalist with
G-Mark, Nameless and Who Are You.  He now lives in Spain and performs solo and with Stiff Upper Lip

Olga Ruocco is an actress and drama teacher.  She is also one of the best-known Kinks fans in the world.

Geoff Lewis is keyboard player and backing vocalist with Frightened Eyes, The Fingers, Big Fat Shorty and The Lazy Sundays
